Prompt Engineering

You can already get a decent answer out of AI. This is where you turn that knack into a system, repeatable templates your whole team can use, multi-step jobs that hold together, and a reliable way to fix the answers that miss.

Overview

From lucky answers to a repeatable system.

Once you’re past the basics, a new ceiling appears: you can get a good answer, but you can’t always get it twice. Every task starts from scratch, the results shift depending on who’s typing, and a half-finished prompt library lives in someone’s notes. Good prompting quietly becomes a bottleneck instead of a multiplier.

This session breaks through that. We build prompts as reusable templates your whole team can run, chain several steps into one dependable job, and treat a disappointing answer as something to debug rather than abandon. You’ll work on a real project you bring along, and walk out with it finished and a way of working you can repeat on the next one.

Who it’s for: People who already use AI regularly and want consistent, professional results at scale, team leads, marketers, and ops or admin staff tired of reinventing the same prompt. Comfortable with the basics (our Prompting Basics course, or equivalent hands-on experience). Bring a laptop and a real project.

What you’ll leave with

Walk out able to…

A way of working, not party tricks. Here’s what you’ll be able to do by the end.

  • Build reusable prompt templates

Turn your best prompts into parameterised templates anyone on the team can run and get the same quality from.

  • Chain multi-step jobs

Break a bigger task into reliable steps that feed one another, instead of cramming everything into a single ask.

  • Debug a weak answer

Diagnose why an output missed and fix the prompt methodically, rather than rerolling and hoping for better.

  • Lock down structure and format

Pin tone, length and output shape so results drop straight into your documents and tools, no reformatting.

  • Feed in the right context

Supply the examples, data and constraints that ground answers in your business instead of generic filler.

  • Standardise across your team

Set up a shared prompt library and simple conventions so everyone’s output is consistent, not personal.
