Overview

Stop fighting the blank box. Start getting answers you can use.

Most people try AI once, type a one-line request, get a generic answer, and quietly decide it isn’t for them. The problem was never the tool, it was the ask. Prompting is a learnable skill, and it’s mostly common sense once someone shows you the shape of a good request.

In ninety minutes we work through the handful of patterns that do the heavy lifting: giving context, showing an example, setting the format, and refining an answer instead of starting over. You’ll practise on your own real work, so you leave with prompts you can reuse on Monday, not theory you’ll forget by Friday.

Who it’s for: Anyone who’s tried AI and felt let down by the results, or who wants reliable output without becoming a tech expert. Bring a laptop and a couple of real tasks.

What you’ll leave with

Walk out able to…

Practical patterns you’ll use the same week. Here’s what you’ll be able to do by the end.

  • Write a prompt that works first time

Use a simple, repeatable structure that turns a vague idea into a clear, useful answer.

  • Give the right context

Learn what to include (and what to leave out) so the AI understands your business and your goal.

  • Get answers in your voice

Show it how you sound, so replies and documents read like you wrote them, not like a robot.

  • Refine instead of restart

Steer a so-so answer to a great one with a few follow-up moves, rather than starting over.

  • Build prompts you reuse

Turn your best prompts into simple templates your whole team can lean on.

  • Know when to stop

Spot a good-enough answer, and when to take over, so you save time instead of fiddling.
